Reflecting On My Final Project

What I have accomplished with my final project is that I planned it out first, then I got an different idea and it came out to be an good story. My story is so good that my own mother and brother couldn’t believe it was my own ideas and writing. That made me feel real good in the inside because I know I worked real hard with this short short story and it came out to be an successful paper. I am very glad that I’m done with this short short story. What I have learned thought out this course is that I found what of an good writer I am and didn’t even noticed it. Also, I’m very creative with my writing as well and didn’t even noticed until I took this course. I’m very please with and what I have been informed with though out this wounderful course of creative writing! I really enjoy having this class and glad as well. because I wouldn’t have know what great writer I am, and now I know thanks to creative writing!

Final Project Proposal

The reason why I picked this particular task is because I like writing story now for some strange reason. I find it fun to do now. Also the other task we had to pick from like Writing a 1-Act play, Write a movie script, compose a poetry ‘chap book’ or come up with my own project, approved by Mr. Weiler I didn’t find these interesting at all. Maybe the only one I found interesting is the Poetry Chap book but I don’t know how to write good poems I would say. But if I put all of my hard work into it like I’m about to do this short story I know I can do well on it. But I like writing short stories. However, this is why I picked this particular task.
What I plan to do for my short story is that I going to write about this man named Josh. Josh did not feel that no body cares for him, listen to him, nor have time for him. Until he team up with this man named Red. Red is what you call a drug dealer. However one day he meets this red bone chick named Astaria parker at this club named “The Joint’. Astaria was the type of girl we call a dime piece. Therefore Josh and Astaria start dating. However, Astaria ended up getting pregnant with twins and Josh wasn’t sure that they were his so he disowned them. Until one day Josh and Red get busted and get locked up. Therefore, Josh came to his scense and realized that Astaria was his ride or die girl. She when out of her way and belled Josh out of Jail. Josh was real shocked that he and Ataria didn’t waste anytime to get married. However, Josh and Red had a bad drug sell and Josh Red got killed. Finally, After Josh death Astaria moved to Chicago and started her life over with Their Twin daughters Diamond and Dime trying to find ask god why Josh had to leave this world so soon. And how she gone get though life along!

Fariy Tale Final Draft Self Assessment

I feel my story deservers an A, because I put all of my hard work into this Fairy Tale working overtime to make my Fairy Tale real good. I’m very proud of myself for all of the time and effort I put in this Fairy Tale, I went into deep details describing who the characters are and what purpose they service in my story. I am very proud of how I kept my monster always from the reader’s and made the challenge them to find out who the monster of my story is. Also, I like how I kept my setting the same and if I change the setting the reader’s will know what setting their in. I feel I still have to work on imagery and figures of speech other than that I feel my paper is very good.

Fairy Tale: Reflecting on Feedback

From reflecting on my Fairy Tale feedback my peer reviewer said “Sort if, I would have kept on reading this story.” Then he says “This story makes a little sense. Yes, there is a beginning, middle, and end. Yes, there is a very good story ending! Also he says “yes, the monster is descried very well. Yes, the monster is very horrible.” From these comments and feedback I have swiped my story around to make it better than it all ready was.

Fairy Tale Proposal

I don’t really know where I’m going with my story, and I don’t know what I am going to write about. But the ideas I have in mind is that my monster is going to be a person who is affected by drugs. So for everybody he goes around or touch end up addicted to some type of drugs. It’s gone mess up a lot of people life. Then my hero is going to be this man who is drug free and he can’t get affected by the drug monster. So, he helps out all of the people who have been affected by this deadly monster. He turns them back to their own self again. Then the drug free hero goes and defeats the effected drug monster.

Reflecting on My Found Poem

While doing my found poem I realized that you could look in and book, magazine, dictionary to found words and make a poem. You don’t really need to know where you going with your found poem, and that the best parts of writing a found poem. Also you could find words and quotes that sound nice to you and put it in your found poem.

Creating My Nonsense Poem

I enjoyed writing my nonsense poem, because it really open up my eyes and made me see that you can still write great poems with words that sound beautiful, and that sounds nice to you. Also the word doesn’t have to mean what the word really mean just as long as it flows with your poem. Also another thing I like about this nonsense poem is that you could use any word to make up a beautiful poem.

Reflecting on the Second Draft of my Short-Short Story

What I could do in order for my short-Short Story can improve more is that I can start off by formatting my composition correctly. This is by setting up my Short-short Story up the right way. The second thing I could do in order to make my Short-Short Story better is that I could add some Figurative language. This is similes, and metaphors, irony, and etc. The third thing I could do to make my Short-Short Story better is by using some symbolism. This is using words that represent a word but you use an object instead. Also, I could use some imagery and Sensory language as well. I could use some evocative and robust words more frequently in my Short-Short Story. And Also, I could make sure my ideas are original and intresting. Also, challenge the reader of my short-short Story to think in many new ways.

Reflecting on the First Draft of my Short-Short Story

I like the whole procedure on doing a S.F.D. I think everybody should start doing a S.F.D because it works. You could go back over your first draft and see what you wrote and wait a couple of days and come back with a fresh eye and look over it and you could see where you made a mistake. Also, you could see what you have done a good job on. I like doing this procedure, I believe that my Short-Short Story is really gone improve at the end of this procedure.
